Calling all Pennsylvanians! If you’re willing to travel to NYC, the New York Historical Society has an exhibit “The Art and Whimsy of Mo Willems” on display now through September 25th. I love Mo Willems’ sense of humor and engaging characters. His simple stories show his understanding of children’s real desires and loves, whether it’s their devotion to a favorite toy or the desire to jump in the driver’s seat. If you see the exhibit, leave a message below and let us know what you thought!

I had a breakthrough when teaching an older elementary school child how to read by using his books. Very empowering for that child to read books aloud. Thank you, Mo Willems.
It seems utterly appropriate to organize a bus trip to see this.
