  1. This is lovely, Anni! When my son was small, we were always so afraid of waking him up that we never dared go into his room at night. But a sleeping baby is definitely one of the most precious sights to behold!!!

  2. I adore Anni’s work! So lovely, sensitive, and evocative. Wonderful to know that her pieces will be included in what sounds like a beautiful book. Go, Anni!

  3. Kara Newhouse says:

Beautiful piece. It definitely makes parental love visible!

Thank you, Kara! This annual theme of love made visible always inspires wonderful posts from our fellow members and sends me digging through my files.

  4. Joanne Roberts says:

Lovely. We can always count on you, Anni, for something sweet. Thanks.

  5. Chrissa Pedersen says:

What a wonderful image to start off the month of LOVE thanks Anni.

I’m honored that my painting is the “kickoff” for this lovely theme! Thanks for your kind comment, Chrissa.

Thanks, everyone, for the lovely comments! Seems we all look forward to this annual feature Lindsay does so nicely for us to enjoy. I remember a magazine cutting my mother had inserted in the corner of her dresser mirror with the saying, “Children are love made visible,” which always made me feel so warmly appreciated.
