Eastern PA SCBWI is updating our web page and we need a new banner!
The banner will grace the top of our region’s SCBWI page, blog, and social media backgrounds.
We’re inviting all current Eastern PA SCBWI members to submit their design for a banner to represent our chapter. The one identity standard for SCBWI is that all chapter logos should include a representation of a kite. The kite is not required for the banner, but you can include one if you want. In addition, if you are planning on including a person or people in your artwork, we are interested in seeing a diverse representation of characters. We hope to change our banner twice a year for Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer and post it on the regional SCBWI website—on November 30 for Fall/Winter and on May 31 for Spring/Summer. So, you may design either a Fall/Winter or Spring/Summer banner.
Send your file to epa-ic@scbwi by October 31st. Please be sure to include your name and contact information in the same electronic file as the illustration (so we can keep track of who created each design). Save your file as a jpg, titled as follows: Lastname_epabanner.jpg. The Eastern PA SCBWI volunteer team will be judging the submissions. Before judging, we’ll eliminate the artist’s name so that the judging will be anonymous. The selected banner will be displayed on our SCBWI regional page for six months.
Winning designs will be announced in mid November.
If you have any questions, please contact Berrie at epa-ic@scbwi.org.
Now for the details:
